Leigh MacRae was born to be a tradie. He completed both his refrigeration and electrical trade qualifications, gaining most of his experience with Downer Engineering working around New Zealand.

With a few years of overseas experience having worked in both Australia and South Africa, Leigh understands that no matter where in the world you operate, to be successful you must build strong customer relationships.

Settling back into Hawke’s Bay with his wife and three children, Leigh started Compass Energy with the vision of providing great trade service that is reliable and trustworthy.
